As a volunteer with Be The Match, you can have a direct impact on the lives of blood cancer patients and their families. Your support at a drive or walk/run event, at fundraisers, as a student advocate or working directly to support marrow donors and transplant patients helps save lives every day.
Be The Match volunteers are needed across the nation. You can work as an individual or as part of a team with family members, co-workers or students at your school. You can choose a one-time opportunity or a longer-term project. But no matter what you choose, you will be part of a movement to give blood cancer patients and their families hope for a cure.
From Marrow Transplant Recipient to Volunteer –
Emily comes full circle with Be The Match
It’s rare for a marrow transplant recipient to meet the Be The Match® employee who helped find their life-saving marrow match. But it happened this summer when 20-year-old transplant recipient Emily, met her Be The Match case manager, Michelle. Read more about Emily’s story here>
